St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Celebrate (First Communion – 3 May 2014)
St. Bernard – St. Hedwig Catholic Church of Thorp recently celebrated the First Communion of a group of young church members on Saturday, May 3, during a special 6:00 p.m. Mass.
Led by Father Janusz Kowalski, the 21 second grade students from all around the Thorp area partook in the time honored tradition, including Ivan Neisius, Dorian Neisius, Logan Hanson, Connor Tieman, Carter Tieman, Chad Jarocki, Collin Maier, Aryan Ballard, Brooklyn Carlson, Riley Weltzin, Pepper Rae Werner, Daisy Bibeau, Sophie Bibeau, Emma Beilke, Katie Ciolkosz, Gwen KIuck, Kendall Luzinski, Elizabeth Vetterkind, Madelyn Windl, Miranda Windl and Anthony Person.
