THORP - Services will be Saturday at Thorp Funeral Home Chapel for George
Mosher, 89, who died Wednesday at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley. Burial
will be in Mount Nebo Cemetery, Jump River.
Mr. Mosher was born in Eau Galle and he and Vera Johnson were married in 1974 in
Stanley. He was a trucker and lived in the Thorp area until 1968, when he moved
to Stanley and was custodian of Sunset Homes.
A veteran of World War I, he is survived by his wife, two sons, Robert of
Pennsylvania and Charles of Ely, Minnesota; two stepsons, Fred Johnson, Mosinee,
and Carl Johnson, Merrill: one stepdaughter, Mrs. Jane Shilts, Stanley.
