Gregory A. Gosar, 21, Chili, passed away on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, at Marshfield Medical Center, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, with Rev. Leo Johnson officiating.

Gregory Anton Gosar was born on Oct. 26, 1998, in Marshfield, to Valentine R. Gosar and Kathleen W. Oliver. For most of his young life, he was raised and received his education in Marshfield. He graduated from Menasha High School in 2017. Greg worked various jobs after high school, but mainly worked in construction. He had many interests, but especially enjoyed working on cars, hunting and fishing.

Greg is survived by his father: Val Gosar of Chili; his mother: Kathy Tenant of Lincoln, Neb.; seven siblings: Melanie Oliver of Lindsey, Benjamin Oliver of Marshfield, Dara Oliver of Marshfield, Sharon Weigel of Marshfield, John Oliver of Eau Claire, David Oliver of Phoenix, Ariz., and Shoshannah Oliver of Omaha, Neb.; his paternal grandmother: Donna Handke of Greenwood; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Benjamin Gosar, on July 8, 2017; and his step-paternal grandfather, Iyron Handke.
