Frank Matkovich was born August 17, 1891 in Kocj Gora, Jugoslavia. He came to
the United States in 1910 and settled in Virginia, Minnesota.
On May 16, 1921 he married Margaret Kocan in Virginia, Minnesota. They had two
children.
Robert died June 16, 1979 and Dorothy lives in Wyoming. Frank worked in an open
pit mine in Virginia.
In 1917 Frank and Pete came to Willed and both lived on land between Dechman's
and Crotzer’s for a few years and then went back to Virginia. He then moved to
Milwaukee in 1928. Frank worked in the foundry for JO years. Frank died in 1965
and Margaret is still living.
