Linjer, Rose Nellie (6 May 1898 - 30 December 1981)

WITHEE - Mrs. Rose Nellie Linjer, 83, Withee, died Wednesday at the home of her son, Edgar, at Manawa.

Services will be Monday at the Withee Seventh-Day Adventist Church, with Pastor Paul Scofield of Wausau officiating, Burial will follow in the Withee Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Maurina Funeral Home on Owen.

The former Rose Nellie Wing was born May 6, 1898, at Cataract, Wisconsin and attended Neillsville High School. After her marriage to Edgar Linjer June 12, 1917, at St. Paul, Minnesota, the couple lived in Neillsville. They moved to Owen in 1926 and to Withee in 1938. Her husband died November 20, 1976.

Mrs. Linjer was talented in writing poems and stories and was involved in a statewide pen pal writing club for shut-ins.

She was a member of the Withee Seventh-Day Adventist church since 1931.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Millard, Wihee; a son, Edgar Jo Linjer, Manawa; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister and two brothers.
