Emil F. Mech was born in Clintonville, Wisconsin on November 24, 1894. He died
on April 3, 1973.
Anastasia Fischer was born in Menasha, Wisconsin on February 28, 1894. She died
on June 7, 1935.
They were married on September 25, 1916 in Marshfield, Wisconsin at the St. John
the Baptist Catholic Church.
To this union were born nine children: Esther (Mrs. Peter Celesnik) of Cadott,
Wisconsin; Raymond of Stanley, Wisconsin; Henry of Marshfield, Wisconsin;
Herbert of Neenah, Wisconsin; Clement of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; Emil Jr. of
Portage, Wisconsin; Francis, deceased, November 15, 1952; and a daughter and son
who died in infancy.
Emil operated the cheese factory in Willard for several years in the 1930's,
later moving to Marshfield where he died.
