Orsburn, Teddy (12 March 1913 - 2 January 1982)
GREENWOOD - Services for Teddy Orsburn, 68, Marseilles, Illinois, formerly of
the Greenwood area, were Tuesday at the Feals-Campbells Funeral Home in
Marseilles. Mr. Orsburn died Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital in Stratter (?),
Illinois following a lingering illness. Burial followed in a cemetery at
Marseilles.
Mr. Orsburn was born March 12, 1913, at Greenwood, town of Longwood, to Mr. and
Mrs. Orie (Rachel) Orsburn. He married the former Phyllis Beil in 1945 in
England. She survives.
He attended the Greenwood area schools and lived here until entering the
military service in 1942, serving with the 5th Army in World War II. After his
discharge. he and his wife settle in Marseilles, where he was employed by a
building material factory until his retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Adrian, LeRoy, William and
Jeffrey, all of the Marseilles, Illinois area; two daughters, Janet and Mary,
also of the Marseilles, Illinois area; and three sisters, Mrs. John (Elsie)
Kuehn, Marshfield, Mrs. John (Beulah) Ormond Sr., Neillsville, and Mrs. Lester
(Dolly) Wetzel, Greenwood.
He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
