Hoeg, Richard II
Richard Hoeg II, son of Fern Treptow of Abbotsford and Richard Hoeg of Clinton,
Iowa, is currently a mechanical operator for the Naval nuclear propulsion plant
on board the Los Angeles class, fast-A track submarine USS Atlanta SSN-712,
homeported in Norfolk, Virginia.
He was recently awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for his professional and
superior performance while serving as a member of the machinery division. The
1986 graduate of Abbotsford High School joined he Navy in February 1987.
