Neillsville Native Travis Vine has been acknowledged for his contributions to
agriculture industry.
The Wisconsin FFA Alumni and Supporters Association published an Aug. 10
Facebook post about Vine.
“On this #MemberMonday, we recognize Travis Vine, who is a lifetime member of
the Neillsville FFA Alumni and Supporters chapter,” the post stated.
Vine is active in his local FFA Alumni chapter. His favorite activity as an
alumni member is the annual pancake breakfast in the fall.
“My biggest connection to ag is growing up on a dairy farm with my family,” Vine
said. “I still help on the farm when needed. I really enjoy teaching my kids
about the farm. My business, TCR Power Products, is also ag-related as I am
repairing and selling small engines and ATVs.”
Vine’s business helped him to win the National FFA Star in Agribusiness award in
2004.
One of Vine’s hobbies is making maple syrup each spring. He has a vacuum tubing
system in his parents’ woods that he uses to collect sap, from which he makes
maple syrup.
