Hansen, Judy L. (8 January 1954 – 30 January 2020)

Judy L. Hansen, age 66, of Owen, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.

Judy was born on January 8, 1954, the daughter of Alphonso and Delores (Thorell) Kieffer in Walworth County. She was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Hansen on January 15, 1972 in Owen. Judy worked at Gould Battery in St. Paul, MN, Owen Manufacturing and Grassland. She also helped on the farm in the Town of Green Grove.

Judy enjoyed camping and was an animal lover, especially horses. Most importantly she cherished her family.

Judy is survived by her husband, Kenneth; her son, Kenny of Owen; two grandchildren: Cierra and Brock Hansen. She is further survived by her sister, Mary Kieffer of Owen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
