Rabska, Richard A. (16 February 1894 - 9 January 1982)

WITHEE - Richard A. Rabska, 87, Withee, died Saturday at Victory Hospital Memorial Hospital in Stanley.

Services will be Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee, with the Rev. Douglas R. Groenewold, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen.

Mr. Rabska was born February 16, 1894 in Glenwood City to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rabska. He was educated in Withee and worked in logging camps in northern Wisconsin. He later farmed in the Withee area and moved to the village of Withee in 1977.

He married the former Emma Baehr March 22, 1916 at Withee. She died September 10, 1977. The couple had celebrated its golden wedding anniversary in 1966.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Florence) Petersen, Withee; four sons, Howard and Herman, both of Withee, Lester, Chippewa Falls, and Roger, Oak Creek; a brother, John, Santa Maria, California; a sister, Mrs. Frieda Ramirez, Sacramento, California; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
