Bielecki, John (1898 - 12 January 1982)
THORP - Services for John Bielecki, 83, of 417 E. Main St., will be Saturday at
St. Hedwig's Chapel in Thorp. Mr. Bielecki died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital of
Taylor County, Medford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call
at the Thorp Funeral Home.
Mr. Bielecki was born in Poland and married the former Diane Zukowski in 1941 in
Thorp. He farmed and lived in the Thorp area until 1951, when he moved to the
city of Thorp.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Joseph, Route 2, Thorp; four daughters, Mrs.
Marjorie Benzschawel, Thorp, Mrs. Antonette Wnek, Altoona, Miss Felicia
Bielecki, Eau Claire, and Mrs. Rose Hewitt, Minneapolis; and seven
grandchildren.
