Drescher, Laura M. (15 September 1908 - 19 January 1982)

NEILLSVILLE - Mrs. Laura M. Drescher, 73, Route 1, Neillsville, died Tuesday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home, with the Rev. William A. Noble, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Officiating. Burial will be in the town of Grant cemetery.

The former Laura M. Lichter was born September 15, 1908 in the town of Grant to Mr. and Mrs. Adolph (Pauline Zwelling) and attended the Kurth and Mapleworks Schools there. She was married to Daniel E. Drescher June 5, 1929 at Granton. He died January 39, 1973. They farmed in the town of Grant and until retiring in 1972.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Granton and the Pleasant Ridge Women's Society of Christian Service.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Virgil (Elaine) Lezotte, Merrill; two sons, Vernon and Robert, both of Neillsville; a sister, Mrs. Elnora Huebner, Willard; two brothers, Gerhardt Lichte, Greenwood, and Elmer Lichte, Neillsville; 15 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Erwin.
