Ormond, Charlie (3 February 1903 - 14 January 1982)

NEILLSVILLE - Services and burial took place January 18 at Kennedy, New York for Charlie Ormond, 78, Kennedy, New York, formerly of Clark County. He died January 14 at a Kennedy, New York, hospital, following a lingering illness.

Mr. Ormond was born February 3 1903 at Globe, Clark County to Mr. and Mrs. William (Mathilda) Ormond and attended schools in Globe. He farmed in the Globe area until 1929, when he moved to Kennedy, New York and farmed until his retirement.

He married the former Julia Boe in August 1924 at Globe. She survives.

Other survivors include 4 sons, Grant, Robin, Neil and Thomas, all of Kennedy, New York; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Cross, Kennedy, New York; a brother, John Ormond Sr., Neillsville; four sisters, Mrs. Mark (Jessie) Zilisch, Menomonie, Mrs. Robert (Esther) Welsh, Waunakee, Mrs. George (Mary) Elmer, Sunnyvale, California and Mrs. John (Eva) Vale, Cottage Grove; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
