NEILLSVILLE - A special Neillsville City Council meeting, set for tonight, was
called off late Wednesday.
It had been scheduled in regard to a complaint against George Murphy,
Neillsville, operator of the Dugout Bar. He had been summoned to appear a week
ago Monday and at that time his attorney asked for a hearing on the revocation
of his liquor license.
However, on Wednesday afternoon his attorney took the license to the city
clerk's office where it was voluntarily surrendered.
