St. John, Laverna L. (22 March 1915 - 31 January 1982)

NEILLSVILLE - Mrs. Victor (Laverna) L. St. John, 66, Route 4, Neillsville, died Sunday evening at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. Death followed a lingering illness.

Services will be Wednesday at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead, with the Rev. Robert Kuhn officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead. Friends may call at the Gersche Funeral Home, Neillsville.

The former Laverna Quade was born March 22, 1915 at Darien to Mr. and Mrs. William (Anna) Quade and received her education in the Darien area. She was married to Victor St. John June 23, 1934 at Rockton, Illinois. He survives.

They lived in the Janesville and Beloit areas until 1945, when they moved to a farm near Granton. They came to Neillsville in 1956.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, George W. St.John, Salem; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred "Dolly" Lloyd, Stoughton; a brother, Fred Quade, Beloit; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother.
