Musich, Eleanor Ann (13 March 1935 – 30 August 2020)
Eleanor Musich, 85, Loyal, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2020 at House of
the Dove, in Marshfield. A private family service will be held in Willard at a
later date. She is now able to join her loving husband, Alton (Bud) and her
canine companion, Dixie.
Eleanor Ann Musich was born March 13, 1935 in Dorchester. She was the daughter
of William (Gus) and Hattie Schmidt. She married Alton (Bud) Musich June 6, 1953
in Curtiss. They were married for 61 years. She was a licensed cheesemaker for
eight years and then farmed beside her husband for many years in Willard.
Eleanor was also a physical therapist aide and a nurse’s aide at Neillsville
Memorial Home for many years. Mom loved to square dance, waltz and polka with
Bud.
Survivors include her children, Robin (Terry) Hauge, Neillsville, Connie (Tim)
Sprester, La Crosse, and Anthony (Janet) Musich, Sparta, TN. Survivors also
include 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and brothers Ira and Lee
(Dolores) Schmidt, and a sister Mae Thieme.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roy and Erle, and sisters
Bernice and Grace. A granddaughter, Becky and two special sisters-in-law, Verna
and Violet Schmidt.
Mom, kick up your heels and do the Do-si-do with dad, play fetch with Dixie to
your hearts delight, and we will be seeing you on the other side!
The Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family at this
time.
