Rae D. Ingham had a store in Tioga that he bought from W. E. Palms. He sold
general merchandise, feed and also had a post office. Rae sold to Mr. Lang and
Mr. Van Horn, then Mr. Van Horn bought out Mr. Lang and moved the post office to
the north side of the road. The feed store was on the south side of the road
till it burned down in about 1957. Van Horn then just trucked feed and hay for
the farmers until about 1960 when he moved to Alma Center.
