Wetzel, Sheila (Engagement - 1976)

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond D. Wetzel of Tomahawk, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sheila Rae Wetzel, to Dr. Jerald Edward Cundiff, Jr.

The groom’s parents are Mr. Jerald E. Cundiff, Sr. and Ms. Judith L. Cundiff, both of Glen Ellyn, Ill.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Neillsville High School and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Viterbo College in La Crosse. She served as a captain in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps and is a veteran of Desert Storm. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital.

The groom-to-be graduated from Glenbard West High School, received a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Illinois-Champaign, and graduated from Loyola University Chicago-Stritsch School of Medicine with a medical degree. Jerald served his intern year at La Crosse Lutheran Hospital/Gunderson clinic. He is currently completing a residence in ophthalmology at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

A wedding is planned for Sept. 3, 1995 in La Crosse, Wis.
