Hermeling, Leon & Agnes (Silver – 15 June 1990)
Leon and Agnes Hermeling recently returned from Wisconsin and Minnesota where
they have been vacationing for the past several months.
While on vacation, the couple marked their silver wedding anniversary. Hermeling
and the former Agnes I. Mohr of Neillsville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian
Mohr, were married on June 15, 1965, at the Jehovah Lutheran Church in St. Paul,
Minn. The Rev. Ernest R. Drews performed their ceremony. They lived in Wood
Lawn, IL for many years after their marriage.
Hermeling retired from Clark Oil Refinery at Hartford, IL, after 41 years of
service. He also marked his 75th birthday on Dec. 8, 1990.
