Hohenstein, Ross Robert (17 March 1986 - 22 September 2020)
Ross Robert Hohenstein, 34, Passed away on September 22, 2020 at Marshfield
Medical Center, Marshfield. A Funeral service will be held at Hansen-Schilling
Funeral Home (1010 East Veterans Parkway) Marshfield. Visitation will be held at
the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 27, 2020,
with a service at 1:00 P.M.. Burial will take place on Monday September 28, 2020
at 11:00 A.M. at Mound Cemetery in Pittsville.
Ross was born on March 17, 1986 the son of Dale and Bonnie Jean (Sherman)
Hohenstein in Marshfield. He graduated from Granton High School the class of
2004. On September 28, 2013 Ross was united in marriage to the love of his life
Ashley (Herman) Hohenstein at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Auburndale.
In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his 2 children, Camping, Wood
Working, Family Vacations, Swimming, Water Balloon Fights, Skeet Shooting, Hodag,
and Paintballing.
Ross is lovingly survived by his wife Ashley, 2 children Brooklyn and Bryce;
Siblings: Denise Rakovec (Don) of Marshfield, Derrick Hohenstein (Jessica), 2
Nieces Caitlin and Marissa Rakovec, Grandparents: Joyce Sherman, and Darrell and
Joyce Hohenstein, and 7 Aunts, 4 Uncles, and 18 Cousins and in-laws Vince & Mary
Lou Herman and Brother in law Matthew Herman (Olivia).
Ross is preceded In death by Grandfather Melvin Sherman, Uncle Richard Sherman,
and Uncle Gray Hohenstein.
Ross was an organ, tissue, and Eye donor.
