Zeneli, Frances A. “Fran” (8 DEC 1958 – 26 SEP 2020)
Frances “Fran” A. Zeneli, age 61, of Abbotsford, passed away surrounded by her
loving family on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center
under the tender care of hospice.
A celebration gathering was held from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29,
2020, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. The family
respectfully asked anyone who attended to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines by
wearing a mask and social distancing.
Fran was born on December 8, 1958. She worked for the Illinois Department of
Corrections and was their first female captain and youngest major. Fran started
in the restaurant business in 1986 and operated the Medo’s Restaurant in
Abbotsford, starting in 2009.
Fran is survived by her husband, Jetmir “Tony” of Abbotsford; two children:
Joshua Loudermilk of Tucson, Ariz., and Amber Nourie of Chetek; daughter-in-law,
Erin (Geoff) Harris of Brownstown, Ind.; two grandchildren: Sydney and Taylor
Loudermilk. She is further survived by six siblings: Mark (Marilee) Harris of
Manassas, Virginia., Greg (Billie Jo) Stewart of Morris, Ill., Chuck (Trudy)
Stewart of Ottawa, Ill., Linda Decorah of Reedsburg, Darlene Whitford of
Bloomington, Ill., and Darrell Roberts of Jacksonville, Fla.; foster brothers:
Dave Cooke, Jerry Harris and many other foster siblings; many nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David Roberts.
