Baumgartner, Dennis H. “Dennie” (15 JUN 1940 – 12 OCT 2020)
Dennis H. “Dennie” Baumgartner, 80, Loyal, passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020,
at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. A visitation will be held from 2-4
p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal.
Dennis Harold Baumgartner was born on June 15, 1940, in Waukesha, to Earl J. and
Florence (nee Drydyke) Baumgartner. He was raised and received his education in
Waukesha, graduating from Waukesha High School in 1958. Dennie was united in
marriage to Elaine A. Pickhardt on Oct. 8, 1960, at Trinity Lutheran Church in
Waukesha. He was employed at Wisconsin Electric Power Company, now WE Energies,
until moving to Loyal in 1984. Dennie then worked at Northside Elevator in Loyal
until retiring in 2002. He had many interests, but especially enjoyed hunting,
woodworking, making toys for his grandchildren, and the Green Bay Packers.
Dennie will be dearly missed by his wife of 60 years, Elaine, of Loyal; two
sons: Jeff (Dawn) of Hartland, and Tim (Lisa) of Loyal; seven grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; two brothers: Dean (Pat) of Brookfield, and Marty (Glenice)
of Waukesha; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his infant son, Daniel Lee Baumgartner,
on March 31, 1964; and four brothers: Glenn, Ralph, Jerry and Neil Baumgartner.
