Suda, Jeanette Marie (1 March 1935 – 16 January 2020)
Jeanette Marie Suda, age 84, a longtime resident of Greenwood, passed away on
Saturday, January 11, 2020.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Thursday, January
16, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood with Rev. Leo Johnson
officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Greenwood.
Jeanette was born on March 1, 1935, daughter of Art and Erna Wehrman. She
attended Loyal High School graduating in 1953. After graduating, she went to
Milwaukee and worked at the Boston Store. She was united in marriage to Charles
J. Suda on May 4, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood after Charles
returned from the service in 1956. Sadly, Charles recently passed away on
December 28, 2019. Together they farmed in the Town of Warner for many years
before retiring.
She enjoyed many fishing trips with Charles as well as going along with him
trapping. She loved summer and all types of birds and always made sure that they
were fed. Jeanette loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling;
mostly she was fond of her Germany trip with Charles and her gambling
adventures.
Jeanette is survived by her children: Rick (Dawn) Suda of Greenwood, Dennis
(Patti) Suda of Spencer, Dean (Debi) Suda of Ham Lake, MN, Eliot (Judi) Suda of
Greenwood and Janel (Jim) Kirn of Greenwood; 16 grandchildren and 23
great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother Art (Mona) Wehrman
of Madison and her sister Barbara Noeldner of Greenwood as well as many other
relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and her parents.
If desired, memorials in Jeanette’s name are being accepted by his family for a
charity to be determined.
