Gerrits, Allen Kenneth (28 June 1949 – 16 October 2020) With Flag
Allen Kenneth Gerrits, age 71 of Chippewa Falls, passed away on Friday, October
16, 2020.
He was born on June 28, 1949 to the late Martin and Olga (Pilgrim) Gerrits. He
was raised on a small farm in Edson Township. Allen attended Stanley-Boyd
schools. After school, he enlisted in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. He
is survived by his son, Allen Gerrits, II and his grandson, Dakota, both of
Spring Valley and his siblings, Merlin (Sylvia) Gerrits, Larry (Cheryl) Gerrits
and Judy (Jerry) Nye all of Stanley.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Richard Sr., Gerald and Ken
and his sister Gail.
There will be a graveside service for the family in Edson Union Cemetery at a
later date. Plombon Funeral Service-Stanley assisted the family with
arrangements.
