Frances L. Olichwier, age 98, of Thorp, WI passed away at Oakbrook Health &
Rehab on Friday, October 16, 2020. Private family graveside services will be
held at Old St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery, in Thorp, with Rev. Baskaran
Sandhiyagu officiating.
Frances Lorraine Igras was born September 7, 1922, in Lublin, WI, the daughter
of Frank and Sophie (Mis) Igras. She was raised on the family farm and received
her education at the Breezy Hill School. Frances was united in marriage to Frank
Andruskiewicz on November 22, 1942, at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp.
She farmed with her husband in the Town of Withee, where they raised their two
sons. After Frank's death On October 31, 1993, she later married Edward P.
Olichwier on August 22, 1998, at St. Hedwig's Chapel in Thorp, and they resided
in the Stanley, WI area. After Ed's death on June 11, 2009, she continued living
in Stanley until entering Oakbrook Heath & Rehab in November 2018.
She had many interests, but especially enjoyed baking and decorating cakes.
Frances is survived by one son: Robert (Linda) Andrus of Spring Grove, EL; one
daughter-in-law: Carol Andruskiewicz of Minnetonka, MN; four grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband's, Frank and Edward; one
son: Donald F. Andruskiewicz; four brothers: Alois, Pete, Valentine and Marion
Igras; and three sisters: Mary Acord, Charlotte Lipsey, and Judy Jarnutowski.
