Elpert, Kenneth R. (31 August 1955 – 14 October 2020)
Kenneth R. Elpert, age 65, of Unity, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020
at the Marshfield Medical Center.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
Ken was born on August 31, 1955, the son of Ewald and Carmen (Schmidke) Elpert
in Marshfield. He farmed for many years in Loyal. On July 13, 1996, Ken was
united in marriage to Linda Reinart in Unity. He worked the Abby Land Pork Plant
for over 21 years.
Ken enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a good heart and was always willing to
lend a helpful hand. Most importantly, Ken cherished his family.
Ken is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughter, Amanda (James) DuBois of
Antigo; a step-daughter, Betty Ann (Sam) Suddeth of Marshfield; a step-son, Bart
(Michelle) Gaffney of Withee; three grandchildren: Jordan, Derek and Jasmine;
six step-grandchildren: Tim, Josh, Amanda, Bart Jr., Ally, Cheyenne; two
step-great-grandchildren: Khloee and Payton. He is further survived by six
brothers and two sisters: Dennis of Unity, Darrel (Barb) of Unity, Richard of
Unity, Tom (Sandy) of Spencer, James (Renee) of Unity, Robert (Debra) of Unity,
Susie (Jerry) Haufe of Colby and Sandy Cliver of Unity; his best buddy, Frisky;
many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bill.
