Bigelow, Robert L. (13 March 1932 – 17 July 2020) With Flag
Robert L. Bigelow, 88, of Stanley, passed away on Friday July 17, 2002,
peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Robert was born March 13, 1932 in Thorp, to the late Ralph and Elda (Swim)
Bigelow. He attended schools in Eau Claire and Stanley. Robert then served his
country in the United States Navy serving in the Korean War from 1951-1959.
Robert married Deloris A. Anderson on October 2, 2002 in Texas. Robert was a
minister/Pastor, an Auto mechanic and a Sales Rep for insurance companies.
Robert started two churches, one in VT and one in CO.
He is survived by his wife Deloris of Stanley, his children Kenneth (Dale)
Bigelow of CO, John (Ann) Bigelow of SC and Debra Bigelow of CO, 6
grandchildren, Glen (Brandi) of OH, Kyle (Angela) of IN, Shane (Shante) of CO,
Laura (Ray) of SC, Caitlin of SC and Garret of CO, 14 grandchildren, Bella, Asa,
Paloma, Samona, Allanah, Nehemiah, Kendra, Judah, Makenna, Caleb, Andrew, Anna,
Lily, Gabriel and one on the way. His siblings, Russell (Grace) of WA, Ruth
(Phil Zoller) of OR, Grace Shilts (Dennis) of WI, James (Wanda) of OR, Art (Joy)
of WI, Betty Shilts (Cal) of MN, Sharon Hill (Timothy) of AZ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ronald, his sister Lois,
sister-in-law Joy, daughter-in-law Dale.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Full Gospel Mission
Church-Stanley with Pastor Michael Larabee officiating. Burial will follow in
the Oakland Cemetery-Stanley. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of
service Tuesday at the Church.
Plombon Funeral Service-Stanley assisted the family with arrangements.
