Last week Friday forty-seven friends went to the home (at Green Grove) of Emil
Meyers and surprised him, it being his forty-seventh birthday. They presented
him with a writing desk as a remembrance. All reported a good time and came home
in the early morning hours, as it was forty-seven minutes to chore time.
