Ackerman, Art
NEILLSVILLE - Art Ackerman, of Neillsville, received an award Thursday from
River Country Resource Conservation and Development Committee at its annual
meeting in Eau Claire.
Ackerman received the award for six years of service as RC&D council member
representing Clark County. He has served on the Council since the River Country
RC&D area was formed in 1976. Its goal is to accelerate the development and
conservation of natural resources in the nine-county West Central Wisconsin
area.
Ackerman, who served many years on the Clark County Board, also spent 19 years
on the Clark County Soil and Water Conservation District Board.
