Runzheimer, Anna (31 May 1877 - 15 January 1983)

COLBY -- Mrs. Henry (Anna) Runzheimer, 105, of Wauwatosa, formerly of Colby, died Satutrday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Milwaukee.

Services will be Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford. The Rev. Joseph Giovenco will officiate. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at Rux Funeral Home, Colby.

The former Anna Wiersig was born May 31, 1877, in Sheboygan County, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Wiersig. At the age of seven she moved, with her parents, to Austin, Minnesota, where she lived for 16 years and then moved to Alva, Oklahoma for three years.

She and Henry Runzheimer were married December 17, 1908 in Colby. He died May 20, 1962. She lived in Colby until after the death of her husband, when she moved to Marshfield to live with her daughter for 4 1/2 years. She then moved to Wauwatosa and lived with another daughter until her death.

SHe was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford and the International Lutherans League, of which she was the oldest living member.

Surviving are a son, Walter of Colby; three daughters, Mrs. Olga Richards of Wauwatosa, Mrs. Erwin (Anita) Weller of Marshfield and Mrs. Raymond (Litta) Ehlers of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, a sister and seven brothers.
