Frane, Marjorie (28 October 1932 - 14 January 1983)
COLBY - Mrs. David (Marjorie) Frane, 50, of Colby, died unexpectedly of natural
causes today at her home. An autopsy has been ordered by Bob Lulloff, Clark
County coroner.
Services will be Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Raymond
J. Pedretti officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitations will be Sunday at Rux-Lullogg Funeral Home. She was a member of St.
Mary's Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers Society. She also was
affiliated with the Auxiliary to Post 2227, Veterans of Foreign Wars of Colby.
Mrs. Frane, the former Marjorie Leonhardt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Leonhardt Sr. of Stratford, was born October 28, 1932 in Marshfield. She
attended Stratford High School and graduated from Colby High School.
She and David Frane were married July 5, 1954 in Stratford.
Surviving besides her parents and husband are a son, Randy of Colby; three
daughters, Mrs. Mark (Gloria) Fischer of Marshfield, Mrs. Randy (Julie) Smith of
Colby and Mrs. Kenneth (Becky) Hein, Stratford; six grandchildren; and the
following brothers and sisters:
Mrs. Earl (Rita) Eisenberg, New Holland, Pennsylvania; Robert Leonhardt, Mrs.
Charles (Mary Ann) Drexler and James Leonhardt, all of Stratford; Jerry
Leonhardt, Route 1, Spencer; Mrs. John (Judy) Becker, Bowling Green, Kentucky;
Mrs. Roger (Marilyn) Swacker, Menominee, Michigan; Richard Leonhardt, Stratford;
and Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Carl, New Holland, Pennsylvania.
She was predeceased by a son and two brothers.
