Anderson, Mrs. Richard K. Anderson of Abbotsford has been elected president of
the Auxiliary to the Wisconsin Optometric Association Inc. The state unit is
affiliated with the Auxiliary to the American Optometric Association, an active
participant with other national organization in the promotion of preventive
health care, highway safety, career guidance and additional public service
endeavors.
Mrs. Anderson has been active in many public information projects in more than
25 area schools for several years, has worked with the Outreach to Older
Americans program and is a consultant for the 4-H eye care education program.
On the auxiliary board with Mrs. Anderson from this area are Mrs. P.A. Arndt,
Medford, safety trustee, and Mrs. G.A. Neillsville, Save You Vision Week
chairwoman.
