Counsell, Henrietta (28 April 1917 - 14 January 1983)

NEILLSVILLE -- Services for Mrs. Clarion (Henrietta) Counsell, 86, of Platteville, formerly of Neillsville were Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Neillsville. Mrs. Counsell died Friday at Southwest Health Center, Platteville, following an extended illness.

The Rev. Howard Ott officiated and burial was in the Neillsville Cemetery.

The former Henrietta Clemens was born November 27, 1896, in Sheboygan County. She received her education in Neillsville, graduating in 1915 from Neillsville High School. She taught in rural Schools.

She and Clarion Counsell were married April 28, 1917 in Neillsville, where they operated the Counsell farm for 52 years. For the past seven years she resided in Platteville.

She was a member of United Methodist Church, Neilsville, and its Ladies Aid.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Victor (Marion) Pagenkopf of Platteville and Mrs. Harold (Doris) Osbourne of Carbandale, Illinois; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Fred Timmler of Loyal and Edwin Timmler of Marshfield. She was predeceased by her husband in 1971.
