Jefferson Genett and Eliza Phelps of Pillar Point, New York (who had come with
her parents to Janesville as a child) were married at DePere, Wisconsin in 1875,
and came to Spencer, where he was engaged in milling. In 1892 they moved to a
farm south of Spencer on V.
