Calvin Loveland and Elizabeth Jones, who was born at Baldwinsville, New York,
and had moved to Lawton, Michigan in 1855, were married at Paupau, Michigan. In
1875 they moved to Spencer and built a home on the corner of East Main and
Pacific, which has since been remodeled and is owned by Mrs. Verna Dering.
