Collin Williams and Julia Holmes were married December 25, 1870. Mrs. Williams,
who was born at Antioch, Illinois, came at the age of 15 with her parents to
Clark County to live on their homestead. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs.
Williams lived on a farm southwest of Loyal, two years later moving into Loyal,
and from there to Spencer in 1875.
