Cramer, Herman (1 September 1898 - 3 February 1983)
LOYAL -- Loyal native Herman Cramer, 84, 1511 S. Biron Dr, Wisconsin Rapids,
died Thursday at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids,
Services will be Monday at Higgins Funeral Home. The Rev. Calvin Fischer will
officiate and burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
He was born September 1, 1898 in Loyal, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Math Cramer. He
married Alice Beguhn October 27, 1923 in Menomonie, where he graduated from the
University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1923 and then moved to Wisconsin Rapids.
He was a machine shop teacher at Lincoln High School and Witter Vocational
School from 1923-1944. He was president of Wisconsin Rapids Teachers Association
in 1938. He was chief draftsman at Preway Inc. from 1944 until retiring in June
1949.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter, two sisters and one granddaughter and one
great-granddaughter.
