Boxrucker, Ella (11 January 1891 - 9 February 1983)
OWEN -- Mrs. Anton (Ella) Boxrucker, 92, Owen Wednesday at Victory Memorial
Hospital, Stanley.
Services will be Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen. The Rev. Richard
Fliss will officiate Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Visitation
will be at the Maurina Funeral Home, Owen.
The former Ella Wolf was born January 11, 1891, in the Town of Little Black. She
was married to Anton Boxrucker and the farmed in the towns of Little Black and
Holway. She lived in Owen 12 years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic
Church and its Ladies Altar Society.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Hattie Hennlich of Dorchester, Mrs. Ole
(Selma) Gilbertson of Taylor, Mrs. Martha Peissig and Mrs. Marie Decker, both of
Owen, and Mrs. Alice Brock of Louisville, Kentucky; two sons, Albert of Curtiss
and Walter "Pete" Boxrucker of Owen; 19 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren;
and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, three brothers and five sisters.
