Six candidates are seeking two positions on the Own-Withee School Board. Both
positions are for rural representation and voters will be asked to vote for two
candidates. The candidates include:
---Frank Friedenfels, 50, Withee, is a self-employed farm equipment distributor.
He has six children.
---Richard Gengenbach, 30, Withee, operates a worm farm for manufacturing
potting soil, is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is an
aide at an Abbostford nursing home. He and his wife have thee children.
--Jeffrey Greschner, 29, Withee, is seeking a second three-year term on the
Board. He is a dairy farmer and has three children.
--Norma Haemer, 62, Owen, is clerk for the Town of Longwood. She has four
children.
---Harreitt Laube, Owen, has served six years on the Board. She farms with her
husband and has experience as a bookkeeper. One of her four sons attends Owne-Withee
schools.
---George Muehlbauer, 50, Withee is a carpenter. He has five children with one
enrolled in the Owen-Withee school system.
