Riedel, Mark
Mark Riedel received Eagle Award at a recent banquet. He is a member of
Neillsville Boy Scout Troop 64.
Riedel, 17, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Riedel, Neillsville, is a senior at
Neillsville Senior High School. He has been involved in Scouting for four years
and is a member of the Order of the Arrow. He has served as senior patrol
leader, troop scribe and as a member of the Troop Leader Council.
He also served as a counselor-in-training for Scouts this past summer at Camp
Phillips. His Scout awards include the 50 miler and the World Conservation
Award. His Eagle service project was to repaint the fire hydrants in Ward 2 of
the city.
In school, he was selected for the National Honor Society in his sophomore year,
and was a representative to Badger Boys State. He is co-sports editor for the
annual, and is member of the Media Productions Club. the German Club and the
German Club Band. A member of the Church of Christ, Riedel also is involved in
basketball and golf.
