Kunze, Brian
Kunze, 16, is a junior at Neillsville Senior High School and is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Donald Kunze, Neillsville,
He has been involved in Scouting for 6 1/2 years and also is an Order of the
Arrow member. His Scout awards include the 50-miler and the World Conservation
Award. His Eagle service project involved making new signs, refurbishing
existing signs, the general repair and cleaning of the walkways at the Listemann
Arboretum, and a clean-up project on the road leading to the city's landfill.
Kunze is a member of the varsity football team, as well as the varsity golf team
and basketball statistician. He was sophomore class president and is secretary
of the junior class. He is active in the Luther League of Calvary Lutheran
Church, and represented the league at the National Youth gathering in San
Antonio, Texas.
The Eagle award was presented by Roger Grawe, Scout executive, Chippewa Council,
Eau Claire.
Recognition also was given to 20 previous Eagle Scouts from Neillsville Troop
64.
