Haavisto, Ruby A. (18 November 1920 -- 18 February 1983)

OWEN -- Mrs. Albert A. (Ruby C.) Haavisto, 72, of Owen, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be Tuesday at St. Katherine's Episcopal Church, Owen. The Rev. E.N. Stillings will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

The former Ruby C. Marco was born November 18, 1910, in Chicago. She and Albert A. Haavisto were married September 18, 1942, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She operated carnival concessions for several entertainment companies before moving to Owen in 1956.

She was a member of St. Katherine's Episcopal Church, Owen, being accepted into the church on March 14, 1951.

She was predeceased by her husband on February 5, 1983.

Memorials are requested in her name to St. Katherine's Episcopal Church, Owen. The Maurina Funeral Home, handled arrangements.
