Wehrman, Seaman Recruit Eugene L. Jr.
Seaman Recruit Eugene L. Wehrman, Jr. recently graduated from basic training at
the Naval Training Center, Orlando, Florida.
During the recruit graduation review, he participated in the men's recruit drill
team and was awarded a letter of appreciation. His commanding officer, Capt. L.W.
Fernwald for personal sacrifice and extra efforts demonstrated in mastering the
ceremonial drill, in addition to meeting the standards of recruit training.
Wehrman will remain in Orlando for nine weeks, attending the Signalman's A
School.
His father, Gene L. Wehrman, Colby, was a guest of honor for graduation
ceremonies.
