Mr. Dave Rooney of this place (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) and Mrs. Elizabeth Gilbert of Withee, Clark County, were united in marriage at Marshfield, Wis. on Saturday afternoon, Rev. T. Harry Kelly of the Methodist Church performing the ceremony at the parsonage. Following the ceremony the happy couple left for Iowa on a wedding trip and on their return will make their home in Withee. The groom is well known here, he having lived on a farm about a mile east of this place for the past several years. The bride was in the hotel business up to a short time ago at Withee. Their many friends here and at Withee wish them a long and pleasant married life.
