--------- Sampson, Victoria (Marriage - 12 JUN 1917)
Miss Victoria Sampson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sigurd Sampson of Little Elk
Creek, and Theodore Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Thompson of Curtiss, Clark
County, Wis., were united in marriage Tuesday, June 12, 1917, at 2 p.m., at the
Elk Creek Church. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E. C. Haavik.
The bride wore a gown of embroidered net with a veil and carried a bouquet of
white bridal roses. She was attended by her sister, Miss Mattie Sampson, as maid
of honor and Edwin Peterson of Curtiss acted as best man. Tillie Hagaseth and
Evelyn Christopher were bridesmaids, and Julius and Cyrus Sampson, groomsmen.
A reception, which was held at the bride's home, was followed by the wedding
dinner, covers being laid for about 100 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Thompson will make their home on the groom's farm at Curtiss, Clark
County, Wis. (Dunn County News)
