An Assemblies of God Church is being started in Loyal under the sponsorship of
Marshfield Assembly of God. The church will be meeting in the lower level of
Star Lodge Motel, Loyal. The first service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The Rev. J. David Arnett, pastor of the Marshfield church, will be conducting
the service. The Rev. Joseph Lumbrix will be assisting.
Assemblies of God is the largest Pentecostal denomination in the world. It
embraces more than 10 million worshipers in 109 countries. In the United States,
new churches are opening at the rate of almost one a day. Assemblies of God is
known for its strong emphases on evangelism, informal worship and the
charismatic gifts.
Interested parties are invited to attend the first service.
