Miss Bessie Eisenbise, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Eisenbise of this city
(Owen, Clark County, Wis.) and Mr. Floyd L. Alban of Steven Point, were quietly
married on Monday evening at the home of the bride's parents in this city at
eight o'clock, the Rev. Father Reader of St. Katherine's Mission officiating.
Immediately following the ceremony a wedding supper was served to those present.
Miss Eisenbise for the past two years has been employed in the local post office
and in this position has won for herself a great many friends. She is a graduate
of the Owen High School and was a popular lady among the younger set in all
social affairs.
Mr. Alban, while a resident of Stevens Point, is generally known to a great many
here, he being in the employ of the government as railway mail clerk, coming to
Owen three or four times a week on his run. He is a man of good character and
well liked by all who have gained his acquaintance.
Mr. and Mrs. Alban will go to Stevens Point where they will make their home at
316 Mathlda St. after May 10th. The Enterprise joins friends in wishing them a
happy and prosperous wedded life.
