Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Weirich entertained at a family dinner on the evening of the
twenty-third in honor of their silver wedding anniversary. They were married in
Prairie du Sac, Wis., Oct. 24, 1895, and resided there until 1902, when they
moved to Owen, Clark County, Wis., which place they have since made their home.
They have one daughter, Ina.
Those present at the dinner were Mrs. Fred Steuber, Messrs. and Mmes. B. E.
McCoy, Urban Mather and son, Arthur Weirich and Peter Gruber and children of
Prairie du Sac; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Spoors and Miss Effie Weirich of Baraboo; Mr.
and Mrs. C. W. Salter and Miss Ina Weirich of St. Paul, Minn., and Miss Edith
Villemonte of Owen.
The home was artistically decorated with yellow and white crepe paper and
magnificent chrysanthemums. When the guests assemble in the dining room they
found the table ornamented with tiny silver bells, while in the center was a
beautiful bouquet of burnt orange chrysanthemums.
Mr. and Mrs. Weirich were the recipients of many handsome gifts and
congratulations from their relatives and many friends.
