--------- Guise, Ruth (Marriage - 1 JUN 1921)
Ruth Guise, a foster child of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Reed, was united in wedlock on
June 1, 1921 with Mr. ? Hups, son of Mrs. Baehm, Rev. Nordby of Abbotsford
officiating at the wedding which took place at the Reed home at 12 o'clock. The
bride was simply and becomingly attired in a gown of white silk de chine.
Immediately after the ceremony a wedding dinner was served by three young ladies
of Owen, Clark County, Wis. The guests were a brother of the bride, with his
wife and two children, the parents, brother and sister of the groom, and the
Reed family.
A three-year-old niece of the groom acted as ring bearer. Much joy and happiness
for the newly married couple was the wish of all present.
